5-axis vertical machining center Aril 5, fully enclosed, red-striped top panel, front-left three-quarter view on light gray.

Aril 5, ten main parts.

  1. 01 / 03 Enclosure

Frame and panels keep chips, coolant and noise inside.

    1. 01 Roof panel Closed top keeps coolant mist inside
    2. 02 Top front panel Lifts off for overhead service
    3. 03 Enclosure frame Welded steel frame carrying every panel
    4. 04 Left side panel Viewing window onto the cutting zone
    5. 05 Front doors Wide opening for crane or robot loading
  2. 02 / 03 Motion system

Three linear and two rotary axes, carried by spindle and tables.

    1. 06 Spindle and column Z-axis spindle on a thermally stable column
    2. 07 Trunnion table A and C axes: five faces in one clamping
    3. 08 Slide table X/Y travel on preloaded linear guides
  3. 03 / 03 Control and base

The cast base carries the load; the control panel runs the cycle.

    1. 09 CNC control panel Screen and keypad at operator height
    2. 10 Cast base Ribbed cast iron that damps vibration
Aril 5 fully assembled: enclosed 5-axis vertical machining center with red-striped top panel. Exploded view of the Aril 5: base, slide table, trunnion table, spindle and column, enclosure frame, top front panel, roof, left side panel, two doors, control panel.
The same Aril 5 in two states: fully assembled and separated into its main parts.

01 — Design principle

Modular structure. Stable geometry.

The Aril 5 is built from ten main modules. Each one carries a single function and is located against machined reference faces during assembly. The result is a machine that holds its geometry through long shifts and changing shop temperatures, and one that can be serviced module by module.

02 — Key assemblies

Where accuracy is made.

  1. Spindle head and vertical column of the Aril 5, separated from the machine, on a light gray background.

    06 · Spindle and column

    Thermal stability

The column is symmetric around the spindle axis, so thermal growth stays in Z. First and last parts of a shift hold the same tolerance.

  2. Trunnion rotary table with a workpiece clamped on top and the slide table below, on a light gray background.

    07 · Trunnion table

    Five faces in one clamping

The trunnion tilts the part and turns it under the spindle, so only the clamped face stays out of reach. Fewer setups mean fewer datum transfers and less stacked error.

  3. CNC control panel with screen, keypad and red emergency stop button, on a light gray background.

    09 · CNC control panel

    Operator-centered control

Screen, keypad and emergency stop sit together at operator height. Setup, offsets and program edits happen from the loading position, without walking around the machine.

04 — Applications

Built for three industries.

  • Automotive

Transmission housings, cylinder heads and valve bodies with bores and ports on several faces. One process takes a part from prototype batch to series run.

    Aluminum · Cast iron

  • Aerospace

Structural aluminum and titanium brackets, fittings and ribs with deep pockets and thin walls. The tool follows each wall at a steady angle, holding wall thickness with less chatter.

    Aluminum · Titanium

  • Mold and die

Deep cavities, cores and freeform surfaces in hardened steel. Tilting the part lets a short, rigid tool reach the floor, leaving a finer surface and less hand polishing.

    Hardened steel · Graphite
